Dimensions
Manufacturer recommend panel widths do not exceed 1200mm and a maximum height of up to 3000mm. Heights greater than this can be achieved, please contact our technical department for advice.
Profile
Glass panels which have been drilled and mechanically clamped and bonded top and bottom with a slender aluminium rail. The SF40 HSW can be used in conjunction with SF45 HSW, enabling single doors to be incorporated within a panel.
Track option
The top suspended running track and rail can be concealed within the ceiling if required and is therefore entirely without the need of a bottom track, with only floor press stud sockets to accommodate the shootbolt locking rods, leaving an uninterrupted floor surface, bottom track option available if required.
Security
When closed Individual panels interlock together and are locked into position by drop shootbolts rods into the floor, the first opening panel may incorporate a locking block plate, if required.
Weather stripping
With minimum distance between glass panels, top and bottom twin PVC brush piles, effective draught proofing is achieved.
Operating System
A top running system with an operating mechanism that consists of horizontal polyamide wheels with double-sealed ball bearings providing continued quiet, quick and easy, smooth operation and a long life.
Appearance
The supporting rails and head track as standard can be finished to a Silver Anodised EV1 or polyester powder coated to a semi-gloss finish White RAL 9016, Silver RAL 9006, Grey Aluminium RAL 9007 or Anthracite Grey RAL 7016, other RAL colours (over 201 RAL colours available) are available for a nominal charge. In addition you can specify whether a matt, semi gloss or full gloss level paint finish is required.
Complete system
The SF 40 system can be complemented by the SF45 system enabling a complete solution to any room, from tilt and turn windows, fixed glazing to folding sliding doors.
Glazing
Depending on specification 6, 8 or 10mm toughened safety glass, manufactured to BS6206A standard can be used, this can be tinted or obscured if required.
